What is a diabetological examination?

The diabetological examination allows the presence of diabetic disease to be ascertained in at-risk individuals, and provides support to people already suffering from diabetes, in order to contain diabetes-related complications. The purpose of the first examination is to allow for the overall framing of the patient, by means of personal history, general medical examination and therapeutic approach. This, in addition to the possible prescription of drugs, also includes dietary education and suggestions for a correct lifestyle.

Access modes

The ENDOCRINOLOGY / DIABETOLOGY unit provides services for outpatients, both accredited with the National Health Service and private.

Reservations:

To access services accredited with the Regional Health Service, you can call the single regional number 0434 223522 and ask for a visit to the Salus Alpe Adria.
You can contact the Salus Alpe Adria CUP or pharmacies and ask for a visit to the Salus Alpe Adria.

ENDOCRINOLOGY / DIABETOLOGY services in private, do not require a referral, simply call the secretariat on 0432 574163 and make an appointment. In this way you can choose the doctor on the day and time you prefer, and the waiting time is a few days.
